People tell me I'm very lucky to have a baby that will keep his sunglasses on; although I agree, it is for a very different reason than "looking cute" (although that is a major plus). My baby does
not handle sunlight well. Some kids cry when they're put down, some kids cry when people other than "mom" hold them, and some throw tantrums when it's time to go to bed. Lincoln cries if any tiny ray of sunlight hits his face. So yes, I am lucky he wears sunglasses, but I love them because it calms him down.
When I was little, my mom would ask me what I was afraid of, and I would say "ligers and bees." I wasn't scared of the dark or monsters, I was afraid of a hybrid mix of lions and tigers. If Lincoln could tell me what he is afraid of, I know it would be UV light. But he doesn't need to
tell me, because he communicates it very clearly in other ways. Such as...this trip to the park.
He seems much happier
this way...
See what I mean? But I will admit, I do enjoy how adorable he looks with them!
I was just rereading through your blogs and somehow missed this one. SO cute, hilarious...gah, I love it~
