favorite things (these are a few)

There's a lot going on this weekend for me (and hopefully that encompasses presents and flowers).  We celebrate our year anniversary, and although it's only been one, little, tiny year - it feels so important!  If you didn't notice, we kinda got a lot done in those 12 months.


Here are a few favorites from the past week...

My favorite hair product is dry shampoo.  This covers the how/why/when.

Here's a DIY: add your own suede elbow patches (so gorgeous on everything long-sleeved this fall).

Alexa Chung's line for Madewell.  I want everything.  This article helped me narrow it down.

Awesome hair elastics (that won't leave a dent in your hair).

Head-wraps seem so effortless, I want to try one!

My fashion icon: Edie Sedgwick.

Boot socks!

A favorite outfit.

Blog post about the importance of motherhood (mentioned by Elder Neil L. Anderson in conference).

And finally, Gap is having a huge Columbus Day Sale.  Everything 50% off!  That's where I'll be this weekend!

    I love that outfit! Happy Anniversary! The first one is so exciting! You sure did get a lot done this year, Haha. Just curious, do you watch a lot of runway shows or where do you keep on trend? I've never been into it much, just wore what I liked but just wondering:)

    leishell - nothing crazy, i just have subscriptions to a few magazines, as well as browsing sites like The Man Repeller!
