all dressed up (and no one to eat them)
Over the weekend we made caramel apples. The caramel slipped off the first two, so we ate them while the caramel was still warm, then tried again. We dipped the apples in crushed up oreos, mini M&Ms, and chopped peanuts. Although they are delicious, Tyce and I are both hesitant to chomp down on sticky caramel - we like our dental fillings inside our teeth! So, our pretty caramel apples, all dressed up in candy, have sat inside our fridge, looking sadly out at us every time we reach past them for soy milk. Are we sounding like real parents, or what?
*if you look closely at the picture with the video monitor, you can see Tyce, Lincoln, and Rachel in the screen!

ReplyDeleteDid you use a kit for the sticks and caramel or did you get them separately? if so... what's the appropriate type of caramel to use for this sort of endeavor? because those look dang delicious.
