While most babies want
out of their cribs, once Lincoln had teeth, he wanted
in. When his bottom teeth came in, Lincoln was quiet post-nap so I wouldn't notice he was awake and devouring the wooden rail. No full moon required, our sweet baby turned into a beast when he realized his crib was chew-tastic. I mean seriously...I'm still baffled when I examine the rail's remains!
That's hilarious! Eli never wanted to be in his crib so that never happened to ours. They sell padded rail covers ( I mean in case you wanted to save the crib) but clearly he's been enjoying it;)
ReplyDeletewe had rail covers...he just bit them off. hopefully we can sand and re-stain the railing so it doesn't look so ridiculous!
Deletebrett's looked just like that ! apparently it soothed the gums or just plain old entertained them. :]
ReplyDeleteAnd so begins the life-long (or at least the next 20 years) of destruction! It's too funny!

Watch out - next he will be figuring out how to crawl out of the crib! RF
