I think the heat took the hint from September and cooled off! Although it's not officially fall, once September rolls around it always feels like fall, and the turning season makes me think about what I'd like to do this month to prepare for autumn. I can't wait to unpack my scarfs and coats, and finally get some riding boots since Tyce has put his foot down and said no more Uggs. RIP five year old Uggs. I will miss you. I want to become better at making dinner every night (I suck - as in s.u.c.k. suck at cooking), and I want/need to baby-proof my apartment. Can you believe baby boy is almost mobile!?
I want to read Baby Sign Language, Helping Baby Sleep, and Super Baby Food. We're about to start the second half of L's first year, so I need to stock up on my educational helpers! I also need to learn more nursery rhymes so that I can quit singing rounds of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Rockabye Baby." I would love to learn Winkin, Blinkin, and Nod and replace "Winkin" with "Lincoln" when I sing it. How cute would that be? Salt Lake is beautiful in the fall, especially when all the leaves start to turn. The lower temperatures will sure make outside more inviting, so bring it September!
that is such a CUTE picture !!! :] and i love uggs, too... i will wear my two pairs into the ground before i give them up !
ReplyDeleteI'm sort of dreading fall, because after that is winter...long cold drab winter. But I need new boots too!
