Pocatello (part II)

A week ago we were in Pocatello, Idaho, visiting Tyce's family (found here).  After a busy Sunday, we were able to sleep in on Monday morning, followed by crepes for breakfast.  Tyce's youngest brother, Britton, somewhat recently purchased a house and has spent the past year making updates so that it could accomodate his many pets (although I am using the word loosely, since these are much more unique animals than the regular "pet").  Britton cut a hole in the front room's main wall in order to showcase a 120 gallon salt water fish tank, and then has spent the last year building a very large cage for his Iguana, Sobe.  This guy is dedicated.

The first Christmas Tyce and I dated through, we both went home for the holiday (me to California, him to Idaho).  He spent a lot of his Christmas helping Britton build parts of his Iguana cage, and told me that his mom was a little bothered that Britton was choosing to make such major changes to a new house, especially for animals.  I asked Tyce what he thought about his brother's choice, and he said, "I just keep thinking about how great of an uncle Britton will be.  I can't wait to bring our kids over and show them all the cool animals he has!"  At the time, the thought of "our own kids" seemed so far off, but here we are, with our own baby, showing him the amazing and beautiful animals his Uncle Britton has!
