the moving of the crib

Last night, after a three hour drive home from visiting Tyce's family in Idaho over the weekend, Lincoln decided he wanted a little daddy-baby cuddle time.  Baby boy is usually pretty independent and very rarely does he want to stay still in someone's arms, so Tyce ate up the moment (and I couldn't grab the camera fast enough).

Before we left to Idaho we didn't have enough time to move Lincoln's crib to his own room (our plan was to do this at the 6 month mark), so we ordered pizza and made an evening of re-organizing the extra bedroom and moving the crib out of our room.  Our apartment is finally beginning to come together like we planned when we first moved in!  Lincoln did just fine in his own room, but because he gets up about 4-5 times per night, I have a feeling I'm going to be the one who has a harder time re-adjusting!

  2. Having them in their room definitely is harder on you! Ugh, I still go in and after watching him sleeping peacefully, pick him up and take him into my room. So bad, but I love it:)

  3. Your pictures are adorable!! The oh so special moments.

I still have my 10 month old in my room, as he still wakes up in the middle of the night too. I hope that the change works out for you.
